I have these out of order time wise, but there was no internet at the Amana colonies.

Here is Iowa’s biggest walnut rocking chair.

It has been brought to my attention that the name begs the following questions:

1. Is there a bigger rocking chair in Iowa made out of oak?
2. Is there a bigger walnut rocking chair in Illinois?
3. Is there a bigger walnut folding chair in Iowa.

The Amana Colonies are a group of people that were similar to the Amish. They have since modernized but have an interesting history and culture.

They also had free samples of sausage. And wine tasting.
