  1. Glad you folks made it safely. You sure aren’t convincing me to come visit with all the heat and humidity talk. None the less it’s still on my consideration list. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

    1. It’s fine as long as you don’t go outside. ๐Ÿ˜ at some point I’m expecting to get used to it and then I’ll need a heavy parka, hats and gloves when we come back to Seattle in the summer.

  2. Thanks for sharing first pictures and impressions. You’d need a parka here anyway, snow and ice in Seattle this week. We miss you!

    1. I am glad we missed the snow and ice. Moving was hard enough, I can’t imagine doing it in snow. Hope everyone stays safe and warm.

  3. It will take time to get used to that heat! I live that you started off by trying to break into someone apartment! Lol! Looking forward to hearing more! Hugs.

  4. Hey Sheryl & Jeff!!!
Thanks so much for sharing the photo’s! looks like you have settled in and are being adventurous as usual ๐Ÿ˜‰ Yeah not sure I could take the heat but with the snow/ice I could take a big dose now. Has it been all that you imagined it to be? I know you haven’t been there long but curious on first impressions.
take care and have FUN! we are living thru you two ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. That is such a great question. We came here five years ago to check it out, so we sort of knew what to expect. I knew it would be hot, I didn’t know how much of a baby I would be about it. But so far it’s met and exceeded expectations.

  5. My heart is glad the temperature is in the teens, and there is snow on the ground!

You are venturing, girl! Have fun!

  6. If it makes you feel better, Scott also tried to open someone elseโ€™s door…. and the doors donโ€™t even look the same… enjoy the heat, I am a bit jealous of it since it is about 50-60 in Portugal

  7. I think itโ€™s genetic because I absolutely cannot stand heat and humidity either. It makes me feel panicky. Like if I donโ€™t escape it something terrible will happen. I donโ€™t understand how some people are just fine with it.
